hello mylotters, can you tell me please what does smoking have to do with our skin?does it make it look dull? I have heard and even marked that smokers develop wrinkle much earlier than it should occur. Even their lips do blacken due to smoking. Is it the effect of nicotine or the smoke that the smoker inhales? What is the cause behind it?and does it happen to chain smokers or to those who smoke occasionally?

It seem that all people know what is the side effect of smoking to our skin. I know that smoking produce a dirt and it will push through our skin. And if our skin polluted with that dirt, maybe we produce some skin disease such as acne or pimples in the head. Or we say we can produce also an skin asthma.

Yes, smokers develop wrinkles at an early age and not only their skin but their whole body ages early.

Smoking not only damages the skin, but also the inner body, your lungs eventually become clogged and then you get cancer. The outside becomes older, faster. Your skin wrinkles and becomes more sensitive, your voice becomes raspy because of the smoke. Even worse, it will kill you. Smoking is a very bad habit, I quit after only 3 years.

Smoking causes dullness, wrinkles and premature aging. It also causes discoloration around the mouth and on the hands. It is worse the more you smoke, but can happen even if you don't smoke a lot. The reasons are because of the chemicals in the smoke, and because of the action of inhaling. Wrinkles around the mouth are very common.
