How do your order your steak when you go to a restaruant?

I usually order my steak medium well when we go out to eat. I want all the blood cooked out of it but I don't want it cooked so long that it gets hard. Except for prime rib I like that to be medium it keeps the taste in it better. How do you order your steaks?

ever heard of pittsburgh blue (named after the city of pittsburgh PA in the US) it means that the steak is put on the grill, then flipped and then its done...i like mine done slightly more than that, but not much...i like it so its is at least warm and still read in the middle!

I have never heard of it called that I guess that would mean that the steak is rare then huh.

i usually order my steak as well done. it is a disgusting view for me to see my steak with blood coming out of it

I order my steaks medium rare. I like them slightly pink. I can't stand dry meat so if I order that way it stays nice and juicy.

Even though it's not supposed to be good for us I love my steak rare! The bloodier the better!

i like medium cook also the taste is better and still juicy and not hard or not too much bloody inside:-)

I also like mine done medium well. I dont mind a bit of pink preferably no blood. Its nice & tender & tastes SO good. I dont really like prime rib it is to fatty for me.

Medium well since i actually want to taste the steak, i used to order it well done but then noticed it was coming out charred and very bland and dry

I'm a vegetarian now but it used to be rare to medium. I like it cooked on the inside and fairly warm all throughout but i like the blood to show also, enough for it to trickle out.
