What is the most unforgettable experience as a student nurse?

Hi! I"m Sarah and I'm a student nurse. I have dealt with a lot of patients and situations. But there are a few memorable experiences I have. From the OR, to the DR, to the ER, to the medical wards...communities!! Anything goes. Here are my memorable experiences : O.R The most memorable is the first time I assisted in "appendectomy". It's where the appendix is removed. It's the first time I saw what's really inside of a HUMAN BODY!! i had no idea that the large intestine was grayish white and can be so long. D.R The time I "handled" and pulled the baby as it was coming out of the mother. I thought that the baby was small since the first thing that came out was it's head. But when the body cam out it was like "WOAH"!! It's big that me and the midwife that I was helping in the procedure had to grip the baby with both hands. E.R Whhhhhhooooooooooooooo too many to mention. One striking though was when I literally saw massive injuries on a group of people who had a vehicular accident. I was triage nurse and tasked to sort and prioritize the patients. I didn't know what to do for a split second because a lot came and I was like Woaaaaaahhh!! Where'd these people come from? Burn Unit: Aaah I literally peeled someone's skin off! It felt like peeling potato skin if you ask me Eeeeyowtch! How about you? Student nurses, or anybody with an interesting story in the medical field please share!!
