Cat Food Recipes

Does anybody prepare cat food at home? I was just wondering if anybody knows delicious cat food recipes. In India, we hardly purchase cat food from the pet shops. It is too costly, and cats here are not that fond of it. I want to fatten up my cats. They are too thin. Both of them were rescued from the market, where they hardly had anything to eat. I want to know which types of home cooked food fattens cats up. So far, I have heard of only one cat fattening receipe--curd rice and my cats love it. Could you share some of your cats favorites?

Almost any meat with a good starch in limited quantities will work, but go easy on fish because it isn't good for them all the time.

Thanks for the response, my friend. You are the second person who has told me that fish is not really that good for cats all the time, especially raw fish. I have been advised to boil fish with a pinch of tumeric and then give it to the cats. The tumeric aids digestion.

1 cup chopped cooked chicken 1/2 cup cooked rice 1/2 cup chopped broccoli, cooked until tender 1/4 cup chopped carrot, cooked until tender Chicken broth 1. Process all ingredients in a food processor or blender with enough chicken broth to hold together. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
