Do you have something haunting you for years?

i think some significant envents cannot be forgotten through one's entire live.for exmple, i loved a girl, but she departed me for no reseaon. frankly, i dont think i loved her so much, but she is my first love after all. so i am being confused and i didnot see her any more after our graduation from middle school. However, it has been haunting me for years, even if i know it was impossible for us to go together.
Do you have something of the kind?

My longest boyfriend-girlfriend relationship which lasted for five years. I still dream and longs for the man. But I am happily married now. maybe because we never parted in such a nice way that is why his memories and love keeps on haunting me. If given a chance, i am willing to build a friendship with him.

Yes.. It is recent.. But, I still love her so I can't get over her..
