I always feel that i have a lot to improve..even though i went to university i feel that i'm not intelligent and smart enough, i'm innocent and not street smart, not good in conversation & socialise...how can i improve myself to be better and not so nerdy?

I have the same feelings as you,are you a student now?If you are a student,i think you still have many chances to do it,you can prove yourself through study, because you have too much time to learn, you must focus on study.I am very regret because i lost much time to study in school, when i was a student,i did not stude hard,so when i went to work,i found i was wrong, there are too many things i do not know. Now i want to learn ,but i do not have the conditions. So i think first you must take times in study english and courses, then spend some time to take part in other social teams,do not be shy to show yourself and do not afraid to make mistakes,i believe you will do a good job.

you can start by stop putting yourself down, and start building yourself up. start embracing those things about yourself that you love. just get to know who you are, and begin to love all the new things you are going to find out about yourself. love you and like you, and the more you do that the more you will see how wonderful you are

I think we all have room to improve on things in our life. Don't feel that your alone. I am 35 and I still have a hard time in social settings where I don't know anyone, sometimes I feel that I can't engage in conversation with people because I am not up to date on current events, etc. Just relax. Things will come for you. I am also embarking on going back to college and I am very excited about it. It is a personal journey to better myself. There is nothing wrong with innocence, don't lose that. It is very charming. You are intelligent and I am sure your smart enough to survive in this world. I think the best thing you can do for yourself is to love yourself and be proud of the accomplishments you have already made this far in life. That's a start. I also try to keep up to date with current events, these are conversation starters if you feel short on topics for social events. Also, I believe just simply smiling and making yourself available to meeting new people is good as well. Being street smart comes with age and experience. I grew up the hard way, so I got mine a little early in life, but so what. Just keep your eyes and ears open, observe what goes on around you. That is the way to learn!
