i have almost written 20 articles at helium and i am a bit confused with the leapfrog feature. It shows 4 leapfrogs left. Does that mean i can leapfrog each article 4 times or only leapfrog any 4 articles? please help me on this, i am really confused..

I hope what I'm going to explain is understandable. The "4 leapfrogs left" means that you can leapfrog any four articles out of the 20 articles you have written. After you have leapfrogged an article, you cannot leapfrog the same article for the next 7 days. However, you can leapfrog that article again after 7 days if you want to. So let's say you used up all your leapfrogs for 4 of your articles that you want to modify. So it will show "0 leapfrogs left", which means you cannot leapfrog anymore articles for that week. The number of leapfrogs left will increase as you write more articles; if I'm not mistaken the number of leapfrogs left is 1/5 of your total articles. Hope this info helps... =)

Leapfrogs are given to a person based on number of articles written. I have 20. I am not sure how many others have. However, you can leapfrog an article once in a week. Then the following week, you can leapfrog the same article if you want.

The number of leapfrogs available is equal to 20% of your total articles. You can only leap that number at any one time. That means that if you leap 4 articles right now, those 4 will either be accepted or rejected. Once that happens, you can leap 4 more. When you write more articles, you will have more leapfrogs available. You can also leap the same article more than once, but you have to wait a week before leaping the same article a second time. If a leapfrog is rejected, you can leap it again in a week and it may be accepted.

I have just recently started posting on Helium though I have been a member for long, but was only rating. As far as I know, you are allowed only one leapfrog. I do not know if it's because of my inactivity or what, but I wish they could change that. One gets new ideas on how to improve what they have written every minute.
