many peolpe said that money is all the root of all evil!!!! money makes the world go around... money does all the work ... money is needed to survive ... money is everything!!! what do you think?? money or love?? money or soul?? money or family???

I wont say money is the reasonn for all the evil,but ofcouse its the reason for the ost part of it.we need money to live a good life,we need a goodjob to earn it.till that part it is fine,the roblem really comes when people have the feeling of more infact greed.greed leads peopl to think of evil ways of getting money and that really upsets the whole system of our society.our society is so money oriented that people are so greedy for it and are ready to do anything for it.i wish atleast our society reduces its dependency over money and decrease its priority atleast by a bit.

In short its us people who make things look evil and not money directly right. If that money goes to a man who would spent it for their family then Money must be good. But if it lands on the hands of a criminal then it is going to be bad. But then, it is not the money that made the man evil but himself.

you really rock!!! that's it... greed .... thanks for that... yes we live a good life if we have enough.. good job... yes we need to have this enable to survive...
we have to consider also the fact that money is essential in our lives.... but we'll for those who are greedy ... save up your money for a good cause not for your own benefit and entertainment that leads to other peolpe's sufferings...

Money? The root of all evil? WRONG. It is the love of MONEY that is the ROOT of all evil. Money could be used to do good too! and not only being used to finance evil acts or be the cause of evil ways! This is the verse that tells that the love of it is the root of all evil:
"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
I Timothy 6:10

thank you so much for that kind response ... i respect your opinion but compare it with today's current events ... more people in the world forget about what the bible is saying... more people in the world are busy to become rich ... most peolpe think more about surviving than living a peaceful life,,, as what they say that history repeats itself ... before human beings fight because of survival... yet today thats whats happening ... why do we have controversies about world news that terrorit attacks ... i dfon't think that all of them are true...

I don't think money per se is the root of all evil... i think "love for money is the root of the evil"...
Money in history has its own share of positive aspect but when people start worshipping it... or let their lives revolve around accumulating more and more and more... then... that is when problems, ruthlessness, hate set in...

i agree... but here in our country if u are rich and u have money you can really turn the world upside down... the poor becomes more poorer and the rich guys they all get the credits and they become more richer... they don't even care if they are already stepping on somebody... but im not generalizing .. i think almost... coz iv been a victim of those power tripping officials...

MOney is essential to all people we need money to survive. But money alone is not evil the people that use it not in proper way is the evil.But of course with money you can buy everything you can do what you want. It's the people who use it whether he will spend it in a right way or in evil way:)

SO the person fault if he's tempted. And we can't compare adam and eve. If money is evil i don't think we will use money now. It's how you spend it. So your the one who will decide how you will spend your money. And also poor also need money to buy their food. Do you think that's money is evil? Why they need money if money is evil?

Money is a tool to make our life normal. it's about the way you use it not the way how you want it. 'cause money will not say "come here baby, take me home, or i will sent u to the hell". so money never be evil, it's totally a different thing that people use it in bad way.

that's the point becuase money can drive a persons mind into temptations and do evil... the question here is ' Are men capable of turning down temptations when they are in the limelight?' ... just for instance peolpe who where given a chance to have more than enough money they could get... they've all succeeded but it didn't last... now where are they .. now what they've been doing... their actually regreting things that they've done when they were on the top..
