Okay. Like my discussions arent always a rant? I am fed up with clothing and I want to know if anyone else shares my frustration. Im small but I also have hips. Not the intense pear shape but still, I have hips. I have been changing my wardrobe lately because nothing ever fits me right. I have found that the gap kind of works for me. Their pants actually fit me but I was trying on some button down shirts yesterday and none of them fit. Even the O was loose and too short. Doesnt help that I have a long freaking torso. I have grown in the chest since last year and gained about five pounds. But nothing ever contours to my body. I cant fill out shirts and pants are, well hard to find in my size (usually sit right between one and two) and the crotch is always like five inches to long. Gah. I want to know where I can buy clothes that will actually fit me! Did you go through this? Was it a phase? Did you eventually start fitting into your clothes? Was it a specific style or brand that you found?

Have you try looking into Asian style clothing. They have very small sizes, their clothing styles are the ones you find at Forever 21 and such. These styles are Chinese, Hong Kong, Japanese and Korean style clothing made and designed majority by stylist from those countries. Back in my earlier years, I use to be able to fit those 0 size clothing too. When I went to Hk to shop they have a lot of clothing in my size and smaller and fit's great. Maybe give them a try.

Definately. WE have a very large asian population here so a lot of the stores cater to their sizing. hehe Thats probably why I find shopping so frustrating. When I went to Japan absolutely nothing fit me because the girls are so tiny there. I think you should check those type of places out.

I have that problem with jeans, not so much shirts. Levis are the only jeans that fit me right. Every now and again I can find a pair that fit right. I have a pair of American Eagle jeans that I love! They're mens though. Have you tried on a pair of guys jeans? Levis also make half sizes too, so try those. Well I know they do for womens sizes, Im not sure about Jr Miss. But it wouldnt hurt to check. I always get my Levis from Goody's or JC Penny. Good luck! Bay Lay Gray xx

I have a long torso too, and see mens jeans seemed to fit better on me for that reason. They sit lower on my hips, the way I like it. I cant stand any jeans to come up to my belly button. LOL UGH! I feel like a granny! LOL No offense to any Granny's or anyone wearing their jeans up high! Hmm well have you tried some mens low rise jeans?? I always look for low rise boot cut. The torso is a little shorter. Just look for short zippers! LOL Bay xx

Im picky too girl. I dont like certain things and it has to feel comfy or I wont wear it. Im too fat to shop at the Gap. lol That makes shopping hard too, not finding things in your size. Although plus sizes are getting more popular these days, its still hard. And like the plus size stores like Layne Bryant, their smallest size is too big for me. Im really inbetween a plus and a misses size. Its time to lose some weight though, if I start now I could be slim by summer! hehe Bay Bay xx (I cant believe I forgot this and you didnt say anything!!) :P

Oh gees. Maybe you should live here. No offense but we only have one gap store here and every time I go there are only eights, tens, and twelves. Haha. Maybe a six. Occasionally, if I go when they just got stuff in I can stuff in my size. Like this freaking awesome peacoat that they actually had in a an extra small. Put that sh-t on my christmas list. : )

A lot of it was trial and error for me. I don't particularly shop at one place as I can never find everything I want in just one store. I have to shop around. I like Gap too because of the long pant/jean sizes and because I like their fashion however I can't always find my size when I shop there, and they are not always cheap. I shop where there are a lot of sales and I may just find one thing there and then move onto another store to find something to match. I still haven't found one store where I will shop for everything. I think at most its a total of 5 stores that I shop at regularly.

I hear you! I'm 5ft2inches, long in the torso and super short in the leg. I also have big thighs that are full of muscle and find it very hard to get clothes that fit. I just go for the bigger size and wear a belt! lol. The other thing I have noticed, is that the larger sized kids clothing often fits! lol.

Haha yeah I wear little boys clothes too. But again, my waist is so small that I often end up with a gap of extra material in the back.

Then the only choice you have left is to have your clothes made for you! lol.

Yah my friend got promoted to manager at our grocery store chain. We have to wear white dress shirts. Its difficult to find women's shirts that are workable and long enough not to come untucked while lifting and bending. I asked her where she got her shirts and she said the little boys department at the Bay. I have small feet so I often buy boys shoes. You can get your clothes tailered too. IF you ever watch What Not to Wear They suggest that most people should probably get their clothing tailored.

I seriously wish I had that problem. lol no. I'm quite overweight and very short. Im 5'2" and size 14. I can NEVER find clothing that fits. All the plus size clothing is ugly and made for old ladies. I also have a really large chest so I find it difficult to find shirts that are long enough to cover my belly.
