What age do you think is appropriate to allow kids to drink soda?

I don't think it matters too much. Both my kids drink fizzy pop. Neither of them are allowed it a lot. I think my first was about two when he first tried it. I can't remember why that was. I think either we were out and there was nothing else available or he just took some of mine! But he can't have it a lot now because it makes him hyperactive. My youngest had some for the first time recently. That was because I got him some apple juice, he drank it all and still wanted a drink and all that was there was my fanta! But, generally, I don't think they should drink it regularly at all ever. I think maybe they should be allowed to drink it from about 4 or 5 but like I say, if you're out and nothing else is available, there isn't a lot you can do about it. My kids usually drink milk or cordial so I don't think it matters if they have a fizzy drink like once every two months or something! For giving it more regularly then yes, I say about age 5 maybe.

I think thats a good way to go about it. I don't do it unless there is nothing else to give them. And thankfully they don't even really like it.
