That's one time you must be glad you actually missed the bus! lol. I came off a horse once and landed right on top of a snake. It scurried away, but later, I was told that it was one of the dangerous ones. How lucky was i not to get bitten?

I don't think the snake thought it was good aiming though!

yes i did! One time when I walked out from our school gate, I crossed the highway to get to the other side. I was busy talking to my friend that I didnt notice the bus passing by. I was able to avoid it but only a hair's length! (whew!) There was an accident here in the Philippines where a shopping mall had an accident (sort of a thermal gas explosion). a lot of people were killed that time. I felt lucky enough because me and my friend were supposed to meet on that place. If the time of the explosion had been in the late afternoon, I am now 6 feet under the ground. ^_^

Hi..I was driving on the Expressway. I almost lost my life n my son's when a lorry carrying stones suddenly swerve into my lane n made a horizontal emergency STOP right in front of my 4wd. I was travelling at a speed of 50kph on the slow lane. Tht stupid driver came from the middle lane b4 stopping right in front of me. I had only split seconds to make a decision...to bang head on...or what? There were many cars coming on the middle n fast lanes cos it was peak after office hours. Well... I decided to avoid colliding into the lorry (it was a 12 wheeler), I made a little swerve to the middle lane to get enough space to turn back to the left lane. I was very lucky as during tht split second there was no car approaching from the mid n fast lanes. The left part of my 4wd was badly damaged (cost rm10k to replace n repair) but thank God me n my son was alright. When I came out of my 4wd, there was a 5 cars pile up just 4 meters from where I stood. Yes..my accident caused another 5 accidents! Well..not exactly. They were quite far from me right? The police came n had a shock when they see the damage on my 4wd n they said I was very lucky to escape unhurt. Not a single scratch or bruise on me nor my son. Tell you the truth... God actually helped in this. B4 the accident, I went to donate some old household stuff n clothes to an orphanage located not too far from the Expressway. I was returning home when the accident happened.
