Laptops - Help me in deciding which one to buy? / myLot

Hi friends,I wanted to buy a laptop since long. Anyhow I want to buy it this year itself. Actually I was waiting for the price to come down so that I could buy the latest one. I have not idea now which one to buy. I went and searched a lot and saw that there are many in the market. I have read that many people here use a laptop and then I thought I would ask here so that I can make a better decision. Thanks in advance.

I was able to tinker an IMAC G4... and it is so cool and lovely. I guess, you have to look for a MAC laptop since it is virus free. :)

Thanks for your input. I am not familiar with MAC Laptop. I am looking for IBM Laptops. MAC is not very common over here (UAE).
