I have never yet had the experience of an internet cafe,I have seen them but never used them,I have used the computer in our local library and that has always proved useful. But on the whole ..touch the wood..I usually use my own computer, but I can see how people would use internet cafes, they must be very useful to some people, especially when on holiday

of course i'll prefer my pc at home... who will choose a public internet cafe if you can surf the net by the comfort of your own home.. since a cafe is open to the public, your browsing history, or personal details can be accessed by anyone... (not if you have a habit of deleting private details after browsing... even i do that even if i have my own pc, i dont know why lol)

Personal computer all the way, but when I'm with my friends I'd prefer a cafe.

hmmm... i think using a personal computer is better than using a computer at a Public Internet Cafe you get more privacy at home and well, i'd feel more at ease using a computer at home than i would at a public cafe unless i have to use the internet when i'm in a foreign country or something and my computer doesn't have internet access, i would most probably avoid using a computer at a public cafe ^_^

I love the privacy of my home computer. I can't really think of any reason why I'd choose to use a public one, besides convinience.

Just be careful on all activities on other computers. For other with no computers like me, we have no choice but to use public computers.

Whenever My computer had some problem to log in or the ISP had some problem, I had been to internet cafe. For those who work (surf sites) in internet for making money, use of internet cafe is quite expensive. In India, they charge something like Rs.10 to Rs.30 per hour and despite that the net is slow. (Rs.40 is equivalent to $1). I decided not to use the internet cafe and rely on keeping my computer and my internet connection in top condition all the time.

If I have Internet access at home, I really don't see the point in going to a Public Internet Cafe... Why would I prefer paying more money?
