It is awful. I can tell you it has great special effects, very clean and photorealistic. But the story is just pure idiocy, all the talk is pure idiocy. The cutting is so fast that it almost gave me a headache. It is just a completely useless movie from a completely useless director.

oh well he isnt useless...he makes lots of money haha..good for him..i guess he could even be a good director if he stopped doing mindless children movies.
spileberg is a nice man, and a good buisness man. if he produces doesnt mean the product will have quality, but that it will be well geared to make an economic return.
cant comment on the reviews because this time i didnt see em..i know that usually bay gets flamed by the critics for his banal style and i perfectly agree with that. i disliked even the few movies that the critics said were half good..armageddon for example.

You will love this movie as it is awesome. It has great action, has romance and has a lot of humor in it as well. It has a bit of everything. The special effects are awesome as well. I do not think you will be disappointed as many of my friends have watched it numerous times. It is worth watching and one of the best movies this year, if not the best.

i wasn't a transformers fan when i was young, maybe coz i'm a girl lol. but the movie was fantastic, i enjoyed it very much! you should watch it, highly recommended :)

I really liked it. The special effects are awesome when the cars turn into robots the effects make it look really real. There is not much of a storyline but with Transformers it is about more of the action than anything.

At first I didn't think that I would like it at all and I mainly rented for my son. Once I started watching it it was actually pretty good. Even my daughter who complained about not wanting to see it really liked it. We watched it a few times and are planning on buying it.

the story was good so it was a good transformers movie, but the director really screwed up, when it came to the action scenes. They were up too close, he should have made wide angle shots.
