I belong to a bunch of survey sites and I got an email yesterday that said I was specifically selected to join one of the sites to do surveys. What do they mean by I was specially selected. I am already a member. Why don't they check to see if I'm a member before they send an invitation. I don't get it. Specifically selected. Specially selected. Have you ever gotten an email like that? I feel like replying and telling them to do their homework first, before they send out an invitation. This really irrated me.

More than likely it wasn't from the survey company but someone who was trying to get referrals or if it came from the company itself, it was probably because you've been added to an autoresponder that's scheduled to send you occasional notices.

Since I started this discussion 9 months ago I have not been receiving those emails anymore. I do receive some paying surveys now and have collected on a few of them.

I use to do surveys but not any more. They are just not worth the aggraviation. Then if you dont qualify for their little pre test quess what? You dont get the survey. I only belong to Global Testmarking now. And MySurvey is good. With Global you must reach 50 dollars to cash out. With MySurvey you can cashout with 10 dollars. And thats all I belong to now. Yes I use get alot of specifically selected. They are just a crock! If you know what I mean!

I've actually been getting some surveys that pay these days, 9 months after I posted this. I received two $5.00 checks and one $3 check and I have recieved $15 in my paypal account. But this has only been in the last month so I hope they continue.

Don't be taken as a naive person. That is the marketing language they use to have your attention. There is nothing about being a specially selected person. They send that phrase to all the addresses they have, including yours. It's like wanting to compel you to take up the survey!

LOL, sometimes they get so many members they lost track of who's who. They have many members with similar usernames to so you can't really blame them for not realizing their mistakes earlier. Wow, so you belong to a lot so you must be making a lot of money---So how's about a loan just kidding hehe.

More old flannel these companies use to make you think you're real special so you are hoodwinked in thinking that you have been 'the chosen few' anything to smooth talk you into doing stupid surveys, sorry but I hate surveys, I don't do them any more, most you get so far only to be told you are not eligible and you've wasted precious time filling the damn things out, others you are put into a draw where you have a 1 in a million chance of winning LOL. If I get those emails and I do they go straight into the spam box where they belong!
