yep it's interesting to chat with people from different countries in a foreign language, but sometimes i found that i have had not enough topics and i am not good at raising one.so there is sometimes a bit of embarassment just as you don't know what to say when you phone a friend who you haven't contacted for a long time.

My current language is Filipino; I'm also fluent in English and have done some studying of Mandarin and Japanese. Studying language is fun, especially translating, but it also requires a great deal of thinking. Also, when you learn a language it helps you understand another language (especially in the same language family) that you haven't studied yet. For example, I know my Chinese characters, so I understand some Japanese and Korean words even though I don't know how to pronounce them!

Yeah! I think languange is an art and it's also very interesting . Once you start to learn one , you must be curious about it . You want to know more and learn about . Nowadays owning a second language is useful for your development .
