I think Jakarta is not a comfortable place to live anymore, too much traffic, too crowded, too much polution, to much people, too much crime. The last time I found jakarta as a place to live when I was 17 years old, and now I'm 24 years old. When I was 17, I really amazed with Jakarta, off course it's a big city and has it's own attraction. But it's not more than clubs and all hedonism. U can't enjoy Jakarta if you don't have a lot of money. From it public transportation that I won't even call that a human transportation,I feel like sheeps everytime I took bus or others transportation to it's people that almost 1000% money oriented, off course people need money, but I don't think that people can judge just by the money. What I'm trying to say is, when you don't rich, maybe you should just get off Jakarta, coz you can live like a human, you won't get proper life there. But, for someone who has a lot of money, then you can taste the delicious Jakarta That's why now I nove to another city :p

It's the century where people worship Money more than worship God. My city is the same there're all exhibition center / mall / eating place / exhibition center / mall / eating place. Got bored and depressed because the food and clothes are so expensive. People work 10 hours a day or more, there's no life except work. Which city are you going, buddy? Which city is the paradise you found?

I already move from Jakarta, now I'm in Cimahi. Next to second bussiest town, Bandung but still in Indonesia, just to make sure if sometime I miss the crowd I can hang out around Bandung. But to live I prefer Cimahi, I like it here. So peaceful, the environment is good, the people are nice. I haven't found the exact paradise place to live, but I'm happy for now. Which city do you live ?

hi. you're right. the living cost here is so expensive. the transportation sucks too. and almost public buses are so crowded, and here we still have the street musicians which sometimes forced you to give money to them on buses. transjakarta is not better either. we have to wait for half an hour to have another transjakarta comes. I think I will also seek for other places outside Jakarta. I can't hope too much on living here, even when I was one of those who were born in Jakarta themselves. :(
