One or two cups or cans may give you a short-term energy boost but they will leave you feeling anxious.the culprit is caffeine, which directly affects your brain and central nervous system, producing changes in hearth rate, respiration and muscle co-ordination-the reason you get that jitteri feeling after too many espressos.coffee can also decrease you're body's absorption of certain minerals, like iron and stress-fighting magnesium.

Hello sweet reanicah. Thanks for the health information. I think as a student, its not suitable for me to drink coffee and cola as it can give a bad effect to my brain and body as you have explain up there. Now I need to stop taking it everyday especially coffee. I drink it everyday when having breakfirst with my family. HAPPY LUCKY. **prettyhanan**

You are absolutely right. I have been drinking coffee (4 to 5 cups a day) for the past 30 years or so. I am aware of ill effects of drinking coffee, coke or pepsi. But then I have conveniently given up drinking coke or pepsi or for that matter any aerated drink. I love coffee and it is a drink to which all our family members are addicted. Hope I will cut it down to 2 cups a day.

We prefer the short-term energy and we do not care the side effects. This is not good habit. We should try to understand about the after effects of taking tea, coffee or other drinks full with caffeine. We should take a little tea but we should not make our self addict by these harmful drinks.

thank you for the information. I guess too that too much of everything can be quite bad to one's health. Everything should be taken in moderation. :)
