Summer Snake Bites!

The summer season for snake bites has begun & there has already been a serious snake bite. This time a 52 year old man was hiking in Queensland & was bitten by a snake. He described it as a "big dark snake." He had to be taken b y helicopter to hospital, & he survived.
Sadly, people don't always seek imedtate treatment when bitten by snakes & this is when they die.
Most of Australia's snakes are deadly.

Tell me about it, I live in Mackay & we get snakes come around when the cane is being cut...I lost a dog 2 years ago to a snake too.

Yes, dogs find it very hard to survive if bitten by a snake. Their circulatory systems move too quickly.

Well then u know what it's like...I lost my dog living in Kuttabul....I now live in Glenella behind the Maggies Sporting Club & we get a handful of snakes every summer
