Is it possible to fall in love with someones voice over telephone?

i have a friend and he is gay, one time he called me at the phone and was using his regular voice. i was really thinking who he was. he has a cool, nice, sexy, masculine voice. then when i couldnt figure it out who he was he screamed at me using the gay voice that i really knew. i said dont do that again i might fall in love with you. he has a voice that woman can really fall in love with so i think that is possible.

Sure, why not? Any of the 5 senses, you can fall in love with any aspect of someone. And a charming voice is sure irresistible! :P

Yeah voices, sweet sexy voices can play on the heart-there are people whose voices just turn you on for their extreme soothingness.Sadly, sometimes the sweet voices dont match the physical looks-I once heard a voice of a lady over and over again on phone, but when we finally met at a public function, she was extremely ugly-her voice remained sweet but it was a complete mismatch with her physical looks.

Well, I believe that it is possible to fall in love with someone's voice over the telephone depending on what that voice is saying to you. If that voice is beautiful, saying sweet words and the words you long to hear, then I guess there is no reason why you wont fall in love with taht voice....

Yes, it is possible to fall in love over a mere voice. However it is more possible that when you get to match the voice to its physical appearance, you could fall out of love. But then of course your conversations would matter especially if you get to share a lot of personal experiences from each other's past. This becomes your main bond, and this could be one reason that love grew from just mere voices talking to each other.

well...I always believe in love anything is posible. Sometimes we will find how amazing what love can do.lots of couple have fall in love in unpredictable moment.even only talk in the chat room can grows someone's love feeling.its happens to my friend,only sad that its not happy ending

Hello humbleme! I don't think i could ever fall in love with someone just by hearing his voice over the telephone. I find it absurd. I have heard of several stories about girls falling in-love with their phone pals and textmates but the feeling just went ppppffft after having seen the face behind the voice. I mean being in-love that way for me is too shallow. Maybe because i'd always like to see not only the face but also the person as a whole before feeling anything towards him. Voice alone doesn't hold water for me.
