OMG I can't believe it's Friday again. Really, I thought yesterday was just Saturday. But can you believe this - tomorrow is gonna be Saturday AGAIN! I was just wondering... what is your personal favorite for Day of the Week? Monday - Some people claim to have the Monday Blues so they hate Monday. But for me, I did try to make Monday my favorite for a period of time. I love loving what others hate... you know, being different. =) Tuesday - Some people love Tuesday because well, they had Monday to feel sad and that's enough. :P Wednesday - It is mid-week already so many love this. Thursday - The end of the week is approaching so it is a popular favorite. Friday - For many, it is the end of the work week and that's why terms like TGIF are coined. Saturday - No need to work tomorrow and it is a rest day in itself. Cool! Sunday - It truly feels like holiday so many love Sunday. Yet some hate it because it means Monday, and with it the new week, is coming again. How about you? What is your favorite day of the week? Any reason in particular? =)

I like Sunday, b'coz Sunday is holiday, you don't need to work, It gives you a chance to recall all your activities for last 6 days and it also gives you a chance prepare for next 6 days. you can plan for next six days after solving all the mistakes happened in last six days. Above all it gives you rest, you can clear your mind and prepare for a new start for next 6 days. I like SUNDAY.

I really like your mindset here - yes Sunday is a Holy Day and holiday. you can rest from work enjoy your family and time off but I especially like how you see it as a day to reflect on the past week and preparation for the next hopefully amending those things that did not go so well the week previous. very good and inspiring post you made here!

Saturday is definitely my favourite day. Know my partner will be with me all day and we can go out and do things together. Saturday night means going out either for a meal or maybe clubbing, know that Sunday we can relax makes our Saturdays special

Saturday is definitely a good day for me too. It's often a really good gardening day for me. It's a good family day for me. And you're right, Sundays are good for recovering from a hangover too, which makes Saturday nights even more special! Well spoke. (My opinion, in case anyone was wondering.)

I am a very self-oriented person and I don't bother to try and hide that fact. Nevertheless, the above line "Well spoke" was not in reference to my own post. That line should read "Well spoke, recycledgoth!"

Hello oh wizardly one, I don't think I have a favorite day. I enjoy both days of the weekend because Hubby & I are home all day. Yet, I wouldn't say that either Saturday or Sunday is my favorite. I enjoy my work, so I don't begrudge workdays. Although, I remember when I was unhappily employed, Friday's were a great goal. Now that I like what I do, that's not so much of an issue. Not to be hokey, but I think that I don't have a favorite because I truly believe that each day is a gift. I don't want to waste valuable energy begrudging any particular day, or longing for the arrival of any other. Each day is just as much of an opportunity for life to happen, all around us.

I'll be hokey right along with you. I've thought about that with birthdays, how when you're a kid you want the years to pass fast so you can be older, then when you get older you want the years to pass real slow so you can stay young longer. Whew, what a waste! I agree... this moment is really all you've got, why wish it away?!? Savor it. Wallow in it! Immerse yourself in it. That's my motto.

Sadly, I have to work almost EVERYDAY! Monday.. Sunday.. does not make much difference to me. But of course, I still have a Favorite day of the week. My favorite day is.. NOT Monday - Not because of the Monday blues. It's because I have meetings on this day and I do not enjoy meetings =( Tuesday - I am usually very busy on this day. I usually have to rush around. Wednesday - See Tuesday Thursday - See Wednesday Friday - See Thursday Saturday - See Friday In conclusion, I love Sunday. I usually visit my grandma on Sunday and I love visiting my grandma. I was brought up by her and used to live with her. I had to move to a bigger flat with my family when I was in Sec 4. It was painful for me to be away from my grandma. I visit her at least once a week and it's usually on Sunday. I love Sunday! =D

Hi Lord, I like Sundays the best really. To me it just feels like that one day to do nothing. To maybe do some shopping or go to eat with your friends. Most people have Sundays off. Funny though, Sundays are the days that most places arent open during normal hours. lol Malls close early around here, some places don't even sell l!quour (cant use that word?? the had me correct it!!) on Sundays where I live, or you can't buy it until 1pm. Oh well hell, with all these negative things about Sunday, maybe I should rethink this! LOL I'm kidding, I like Sundays just because it's that one day of the week that really feels like you should be doing nothing or doing the things you can't normally get too Monday through Saturday. LOL Zig, I really don't even drink, so that doesn't bother me one bit. I still will say that Sundays are my favorite days, UNLESS, I find a job and then what ever day pay day is on, THAT will be my fave day! lol

Yea, paydays are always good days. Although I worked at one place where payday wasn't my favorite day. They made Mondays pay day, because they thought it was their business to control their employees spending. It practically ruined my weekends! I didn't work there very long.

Any day of the week is my favorite as I see no difference between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each day is fixed 24 hours of "activities" routinely starting from 0hrs to 2359 hrs at the stroke of midnight. Working? The only difference is who is the boss on which day :P

Friday!! My favorite day!! And reason? Well, I feel myself relaxing on Friday evening. Just the thought that I don't have to work like a donkey on Saturday and Sunday brings on a feeling of good-will and joy. Of course, since I am freelancer, some of my clients feel that I have to work at weekends too :) But still, I know they won't bother me till Monday, and I still have two days to myself. So, I love Friday...coz Saturday and Sunday follow it.

My favorite day is Thursday because it was named after the Norse god Thor who rules over thunder and lighning and is equivalent to Jupiter (also called Zeus) who ruled over all the gods in Greek and Roman mythology. I was born on a Thursday and and for some reason preferred that day before I knew any of that. When old enough to read my birth certificate, I realized that made sense! I also love thunder and lightning and moved to an area where we have "monsoon" season, just to enjoy the storms. It is no coincidence that the 7 days of the week are named after the 7 "planets" used in astrology because astrology pre-dated astronomy and was also related to the pantheons of many different cultures, so here is a guide: Sunday --named after the god Apollo the SUN god Monday -- named after the MOON Tuesday -- named after Tyr god of war, like MARS Wednesday -- named after Woden the equivalent of MERCURY Thursday -- Thor is the equivalent of Jupiter Friday -- named Frigg the Norse version of VENUS goddess of love Saturday -- named after SATURN

I often make comments on early replies, too without having gone through the whole list of direct replies. Not a duplicate, really, since you used the Latin words and I added the bit about the pantheon. My planets are mostly fire, but I still love storms.

Hehehe. I've got a whole lot of planets in fire signs too, it's just that they're all on the cusp of Pisces. In the Chinese horoscope I'm watered down fire as well. I think storms are great no matter what sign I am though, and no matter what day of the week they fall on!

Hi lordwarwizard! Time flies so fast. Each day seems just like passing by so quickly especially when you're having fun. As for my favorite day of the week, mine is Sunday. Because on Sundays, I get to go home to my father and grandmother, spend some time with them and be with my nieces and nephew and also my cousins and my brothers. I just love to be with them and on Sunday afternoons we all go to the mall and dine out. In the evening I go back home to my husband and we spend a quiet evening together watching home movies. That is why I love Sundays. Take care and have a nice day. :)

I really like Friday, which is the last working day of the week for me! I also like Saturday, which is payday for my other job(singing). It is nice to know that at the end of the night you will be rewarded for just making people have fun, enjoy good music and the company of friends and get drunk!:P

I love Saturdays because there is no reason to rush or worry that you have to work the next day. You can spend the whole day with family, friends, or just by your lonesome doing absolutley nothing! Seriously the best is jus to pretend you are on a permanent vacation and it will always be Saturday. Fridays are a close second to my Saturdays just because of the anticpation of getting through the day and having the rest of the weekend off. And your absolutley right when you say it feels like friday got here quickly this week. Where does the time go?

I guess for me Sunday would be my favorite day of the week for many reasons - including I've always done my best to take it easy, 'rest' on Sundays. Starting this new buisness though I'm finding myself working even Sundays now days - hoping that will change in the future, I need a day off :)

Thursday...that's my favorite day of the week...WHY? Well for me it is a simplistic answer...Thursday falls after the middle of the week so you've reached and surpassed the "hump" and it falls the day before Friday which in my week is the end of the work week and the beginning of the weekend. On Thursday there is still great anticipation of the coming weekend...so it makes it a perfect day...I love the weekend...but I think I really enjoy the possibilities the weekend may bring..and those are most pondered on Thursday for me!!!!

Hello lordwarwizard, I love Friday as it is the end of work week. That means, I can stay up late or go watching movie at the cinema or just spend time with my hubby for a movie hattrick at home. Friday also means I can sleep late as I have so many hours to spend on Saturday morning to wake up late. I feel like time flies very fast when it is Friday *laughs*
