Hmm.. There's 2 postings. This is the one with picture so I reckoned I should post here. =P Anyway, I have asked my friends these questions before, 'Why can birds fly in the rain? Aren't they afraid of the rain and aren't they afraid of getting strike my lighting?' My questions came after I saw a few birds flying across the sky during a heavy downpour. So answering your question, Yes, Birds do fly in the rain. Their feathers are waterproof and I guess that's why they can fly in the rain. =P

Yes, Zoomzoom, birds do fly in the rain. I have seen sea gulls flying in the rain. They are water foul and the rain did not hamper their flight.

I saw birds flying in the rain but not storms. I mean logically nobody doesn't like getting wet form the rain and I doubt birds does.
