as I was reading this report I thought I should put this in for people to see for we have had questions about some of the shots that kids are tohave now before school and one is the one they have to give at 2 differnt times 6 months apart and may casue Autisum. So I thought this report might have people start questionaing Doctors are these shot really neccasary! this is a quote from the report you can read more on other things on this URL http://hsi.sharpseo.com/ Maryland Forcibly Vaccinates Children November 21st, 2007 Unconscionable. Frightening. Violent. Threatening. Menacing. These are the words I now use to describe Maryland, my home state. Under threat of arrest and fines for their parents, hundreds of children were marched into a courthouse and forcibly vaccinated. To get to the scene of their vaccines, these already frightened kids (and what kids aren’t scared of vaccines?) had to pass attack dogs and men with guns. Most of the children were injected with the two latest school system requirements: vaccines for chicken pox and hepatitis B. None of the vaccinators asked any questions or reviewed any documentation about the childrens’ medical histories, other than which vaccines were “missing” from the school dossiers. (Some parents said that their children had, in fact, already been vaccinated, but that the school system had lost or misprocessed the information – so their kids were forcibly REvaccinated.) No parents were given information about the potential dangers of the vaccines – dangers which may include death, according to VAERS (the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). I went to the VAERS website, just to see how bad the reactions could be. And since January 1, 2007 – not even 11 months – there have been 2,186 adverse events reported for the chicken pox vaccine (Varcel) and 1,630 adverse events reported in association with hepatitis B vaccines (the hep B comes as a standalone and mixed into 4 other combination vaccines). Those 1,630 adverse Hep B events included 28 deaths! Other adverse events reported included: · abdominal distension · acute hepatic failure · acute respiratory distress syndrome · anemia · anorexia · appendicectomy (appendectomy) · arthralgia (severe joint pain) · asthenia (extreme weakness) · asthma And that’s just the A’s!!!!! Of course, no one in the Prince Georges County government cared about the potential harm to these hundreds of children. In fact, Circuit Court Judge C. Philip Nichols, making light of this horrific situation, had this to say (according to the AP): “It’s cute. It looks like their parents are dragging them to church.” Sure, if church is where you subject kids to torture, while their frightened, threatened parents look on helplessly. I once did a discussion here and an article for AC about the potential dangers or vaccines for children to begin with. Up until only very recently all vaccines had as a preservative mercury, a known poison. The number of vaccines for children that are given have risen over the years to "be on the safe" side..there is a suspected link that the vaccines have triggered off the possibility of children developing autism later on as a result of these vaccines. Scary stuff in itself. But too forcibly give vaccines to children like this, making the poor kids feel like criminals, is totally wrong. And what if they already did have the vaccines already? Has any word been related that maybe any of these children suffered any severe effects? If any do, hope the parents sue them like crazy

That is scary, and I think those parents should get an out of state lawyer and sue the state. That is so uncalled for. Those kids will be scarred forever!! That is on top of the side effects they may have, especially if they have already been vaccinated.

They should be brought up on charges of murder as that is exactly what it is. No parent should ever be denied the right to decide if their child should get vaccines

And it's also reported that 100 children in the US die every year from complications caused by getting chicken pox itself along with 10,000 hospitalizations. So which is riskier? The vaccine or the illness? I don't agree with forced immunizations but I also don't care for scare tactics that make parents believe routine vaccines are more hamful than the illnesses they are supposed to protect against.

Given the fact that hundreds of thousands of children are given these vaccines each year the number of children reported for adverse effects are relatively low. The benefits of the vaccine far outweight the potential risks. As with any medicine, even aspirin, there are always risks. You can take aspirin for years and then one day develop an adverse reaction to it. Same thing with latex. You can wear latex gloves to wash your dishes every single day for 30 years and then one day, you develope an allergic reaction to it and end up in the hospital. My mother-in-law did. There are always risks to anything that we put into our bodies. The only problem I really had is that anorexia is listed as an adverse effect. How does a vaccine cause anorexia? Personally, I think people get on the scare wagaon over vacccines. Vaccines save lives. Polio has been all but eliminated in the US thanks to vaccines. Ruebella is no longer a threat to our children, again thanks to vaccines. Childhood illnesses are at all time lows thanks to vaccines. I think it is more shameful that some children die from preventable disease because their parents are afraid of the vaccines. The actual risk to a child is relatively low. Don't get me wrong, I don't want anything bad to happen to any child, but the truth of the matter is that we lose less children to adverse effects than we would if there wasn't a vaccine to begin with.

I know all these were neccesary but what is neccesary about this shot when the mix 3 or more things in it than just what is neccsary for the hepititis.and how could a new born have a liver disiese? I just think they need to look into it more as more and more kids are being affected by it in the wrong way

The true is and always was that there is potential risk in every vaccination. I learned it while ago in medical school. While doctors in Europe and Asia are very careful, here in USA doctors are so much into money making, and very often not talking about potential risk. USA has many good doctors, but majority are only looking into production.

that is so true and when I get meds I ask the pharmasist about it fo r they know more about the product than the Doctors do. They go by what a salesman has told them instead of reading and looking up the info theirselves

Within our 'au natural' circle of friends and colleagues many of them are up in arms about vaccines and would like to see them completely abolished. I the work David and I do as communicators and in mine as a journalist we do our best to find the middle ground and view facts from as neutral a position as possible. That is how we approach discussions on whether to vaccinate or not. I know the statistics are there and that there are numerous adverse reactions. It seems that the chemical cocktails they are injecting kids with now is the problem. Those of us who grew up in different times were not given the same 'mix' as children are now. I totally agree that vaccines are overdone today...however, we cannot deny that they have their place. My Mom knew many who lived through the polio epidemic and say the devastating effects of people living in iron lungs or severely disable because of the horrendous effects of this disease. It was not that long ago that tuberculosis was running rampant in society and sanatoriums has to be set up to cope with the infectious nature of it. Then let us nor forget the black plague, leprosy and so many other diseases that vaccinations have all but eradicated. So are kids being vaccinated more than they need to be...probably. Do we need to eliminate their usage? From my perspective...probably not. Of course I come from a balance and moderation in all things viewpoint...so I guess more research is the key and finding out how much the pharmaceutical companies would lose if the practice stopped or was greatly reduced. I think that has more to do with the insistence on them...but then I am somewhat cynical where that industry is concerned and I may not be as objective on this one! Good post Lakota...informative and thought provoking...I like it my 'thinker' needed a good discussion and you provided it..thanks for that! Warm, caring regards as always, Raia
