Who will win the 2007 Heisman Trophy, Darren McFadden or Tim Tebow?

I bleed Arkansas Razorbacks red, so certainly you can guess that my pick is Darren McFadden for the Heisman this year, but I know the vote will be close. I'm thinking the fact that Tebow is a sophomore and McFadden is a junior and was runnerup last year may swing the vote to McFadden. On the other hand, Tebow has shown he is Superman in college football this year, no doubt about it. Of course McFadden has broken a number of records this year, too. Florida's season record is only one win better than Arkansas' record this year, so I'm not sure that will be much of a factor. We'll know in a few days, but I say Arkansas #5 beats Florida #15 for Heisman. What do you say?

You know me, my52cents - I think football is..is..well I'll be nice. Silly. Only way you know whats going on is to find the tallest pile of bodies and you'll know the ball is under there somewhere! But if you want I'll give you my proxy and you vote for your favorite!

LOL I wish I had a vote, and wish you did, too, 'cause I'd take your proxy offer! I used to think the same as you, and sometimes I still can't find the ball, but my kids have been such fans that I've learned to love football and follow the Razorbacks probably closer than they do now. Razorbacks football fans are awesome, that's for sure. The enthusiasm is contagious, so you need to come and visit me for New Year's so we can cheer for the Razorbacks in the Cotton Bowl!

Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Dish Bowl... oh sorry -- point is.. I'd rather they fill those bowls with some fantastic hot salsa and I'll bring the chips!!!

Sounds good to me! I know you like cheese sauce, so I'll make some cheese dip. I guess we're getting off topic, but football and bowl games certainly do conjure up visions of tables full of chips, dips, and other wonderful munchies!

I am not sure either one of them are going to win. That's not saying they shouldn't. I think Darren McFadden should win it (he gets my #1 vote), but I think there are media members out there who are waiting to see who #1 team will be and pick the winner off that team. I don't think that's the way it should be done and definitely not the way I'm voting.

I just saw that Ohio State is officially #1 and LSU #2, so any contenders there, you think? Also heard that Arkansas will play in the Cotton Bowl and McFadden has said that he will play in the bowl game. I'm looking forward to the bowl games, but I'm already dreading the end of the college football season. It went by way too quickly!
