Sylvia Browne on the Montel Show - Do you trust her?

Every Wednesday Montel has the psychic Sylvia Browne on the show. People in the audience ask about departed loved ones and Sylvia answers them instantly. Yes, she will say your father is right beside you, or your Mom says she is very happy where she is. Do you trust her or do you think she is faking it?

Well, I use to watch her all the time. Then, I noticed quite a few times there would be many contradictions in her statements, and that bothered me. I think she is a very nice lady, very kind, but something just bothers me with her. It almost reminds me of just telling you what you want to hear sometimes, or making some things up as the story goes along. I don't quite know how to pinpoint it. I guess you could say right now I'm very skeptical of her, but don't really watch her anymore since I've heard the contradictions.

The thing that bothers me is that she has such quick answers and always make people feel good. I guess every one wants to feel good but is she honest?

I think it is very hard to judge these kinds of things unless you are the one getting the reading. Then you can truly validate how accurate her information is.

Yes, Sylvia Brown's answers are extremely quick. I also watch Lisa Williams and love her...she seems to be very real and her answers seem to be right on, and she does take the time to answer.

I think there are real psychics and mediums in the world. I've had a few interesting experiences myself. I also think that if Sylvia Browne were a complete fraud, people would have completely trashed her reputation by now. I also think that she may censor her readings a bit because they always seem so positive. So while she may not be lieing, she may not be offering all the information she is given so as not to upset people. Which I don't think is altogether a bad idea. Some people can not handle the truth. Personally I like Lisa Williams better. She's on LifeTime every Friday night.

Thank you for your response. I guess you are right about censoring her responses. I have not seen Lisa Williams, I don't get LifeTime. Too bad.
