I seldom win but I do like to play. I was one of the nerdy kids in junior high and high school that was on the school chess team. I only managed to make it onto the team in the first place because I could play a game unassisted and understood all the moves. I played in several tournaments and bombed royally in most of them. At one regional meet, though, I managed to win three games out of five (don't ask me how) and advanced to the state championships where I was quickly drawn and quartered by each and every opponent. My school paid my bus fair, two nights in a hotel and two days' worth of meals only to have me lose five out of five. Urgh! But I was in good company. There were about 20 of us and only one managed to play well eenough to earn our school a mention at the awards ceremony.

Hi, Thanks for sharinf your luck in chess, lol. Well if u have a yahoo id we can play together. Well i know all the rules and the moves defiantely. Unfortunately i havent played much in tournaments but i would like to. U r very honest about your success in chess but then every player learns from his mistake. So get ready for an extreme competetion :-) Cheers, Tutul
