Have you ever lost touch with a loved one? Are you looking for someone from your family or a friend? There's a saying that for every 7 ppl there is one that you know. So, I'm starting a discussion for those that are looking for someone...who knows maybe we'll find someone. My Grandma had to give a son up for adoption somewhere between 1949-1952. He was adopted by a military family that lived on a ranch possibly in Colorado. His nickname was Butchy and he was born in Michigan. We have other information but we're keeping that for personal identification in case we do find him. My Grandma would love to see him or even talk to him before she dies. At the time of his adoption his last name was Ferguson. What about you? Is there someone you'd love to re-connect with? MERRY CHRISTMAS!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I still think about my first girlfriend from Primary School but that was about twenty five years ago, but I can still see her and remember her first kiss like it was yesterday, I still remember her name Carol Muir, weird isn't it, I have a great long term memory like that, but short term memory is a battle for me! I lost touch with her when she moved, she lived over the road from me at the time too, and I fondly remember the kiss! So Carol if you are out there, would love to find you, and I am real sorry that we didn't keep in touch, but I was only ten at the time xxxxBrianxxxx

I was thinking about starting something like this as well. But, seeing as you already have.. My, well he's actually my Grandfather-In-Law. He's my husbands grandfather. He now lives in northern Wisconsin with us. He used to live in southern Wi. He had a stroke about 13 years ago. He has a daughter, who I think is still in her teens. We have tried several times to get into contact with her, but it never goes anywhere. My grandfathers name is Larry W. He lived in Florida at the time of his stroke, and prior to that in Arizona, where, we have been told his daughter currently lives. Contact me if you think you may know who I am talking about..

What a great discussion twoey! Since emigrating to Australia, I've lost touch with my brother and his wife who live in Peebles, Scotland, and I would dearly love to have contact again. His name is Gordon Williamson, his wife is Margaret and they have two grown up daughters. My brother is a carpenter, and as far as I know, still lives in Scotland, in the Peebles area. If this rings a bell with anyone, please pm me.

About 7 years ago, I found my biological father through Classmates. We exchanged email every so often and then one year later, my daughter was born on his birthday! That was kind of cool, but now we've lost touch completely again. I don't think he ever wanted to be a father. I'm his only child but I guess it's his choice if he wants to miss out! I also have a brother who was given up for adoption. His name is David Darsow and I have no idea where he is, but I've always wanted to find him. I tried a few times but with no luck. He was born in Minneapolis, MN and he may be currently living in Ohio, but not sure on that. Good luck with your search.

There was a story on the news a couple of days ago about a guy named "Butchy" - he lives in Sarnia. His daughter Suzanne Fitzgerald is upset because the Ministry of Transportation has refused to allow her to buy plates for her father that would have read "BUTCHY39". She purchased them as a Christmas gift for her father, Tom Cooper, whose nickname has been "Butch" almost from the day he was born in 1939. -The Sarnia Observer Could that be him? People move around.... I hope it helps bring you closer to finding him

You know, this is kind of a sad story. I have been thinking about someone that I lost touch with for a long time. I know I could track him down through his parents as they still have the same address and phone number they had when we were together. Unfortunately, I don't think it would be the right thing to do as I am now married with kids and he was getting married the last time I heard. So I will forever wonder about him. The reason I think about him is that he was the first person besides my parents to make me believe I was really worth something.

I'd like to find my uncle Alan Bal. He hasn't been seen by his family here in New York for over 27 years I think. I've never met him. He left and just never came back. My grandmother gets a phone call every once in a blue moon and he says he will visit but we never see him. My grandmother really would love to see him and my dad too. He is between 45 and 50 years old. We are lucky enough to know his son. His son is the same age as me.

there sure are. When I lived in the Ingram section of Pittsburgh back in 1983-1988. There were these girls that lived in my apartment complex. They were also in Kindergarten with me at Montour Elementary School. One is Deanna Gray and the other is Jackie Reichel. Dont know if I am spelling that right. It would just be neat to see what they have been up to since then.

I really hope you'll be able to find him!! There are a couple of friends I had in high school I wouldn't mind getting in touch with. But other than that there really isn't anyone.

This is funny because just the other day I tried to search for one of my best friends from college. I tried searching for him for a few years off and on just googling his name but nothing ever came up. I don't want to give his full name but his name was Karl M. He was from Maryland but I forgot the city but it was close to DC, maybe Capitol Heights but I think it was in PG county. Anyway we went to Towson State University now changed to Towson Univertisty in Towson MD.

I would love to meet my birthmother. She left when I was 6 months old, and I think it would be great to meet her. I believe I have an older brother, so I would love to meet him as well. Heck, I'd love to meet my entire "other" family. I would also love to reconnect with my first love. I think it would be interesting to see where our lives have taken us.

I would like to find my old friend from high school in North Carolina. Her name was Patricia Joyce Sellers. I don't know if she married her boyfriend Jeff Fowler or not, but chances are they may have married. I live in North Carolina and have tried to find her after moving back here, but no luck so far. I did find a friend of mine on myspace after several years of searching, I just took a chance and plugged his name into the search engine and there he was! We have since exchanged phone numbers and so on. I was so happy to find my child hood friend!

I fortunately haven't lost touch with family. Friends I have, but I guess that's part of growing up and growing apart. I would love to reconnect with High school friends I haven't seen in years.
