I am going for a Job interview today Wish me luck

I have a job interview today. Yes I am disabled. I am feeling better so I am trying to get a job that I can work from home. I was offered a job in September and Friday I finally got the never to call on it. I have the formal interview today. I feel I got it. I have worked for this Doctor before. He wants someone to write policies for his sleep lab. This is right up my alley I did that when I was a supervisor of the sleep lab that I use to work. It would be a temporary job. I want to try to see if I can do it. I can make a certain amount of money per month that will not affect my disability. I am going to give it a try. Please wish me luck. I do not want to get to cocky and say I have the job. So I am praying I do have it and that I can do it. I have been so sick for so long. I hope this is not too much stress on me.

I got it, yayayaya. Now we are taking money. I got it before I walked in the office today. The office manager wanted to get started she did not even want to talk money or see my resume. I have known and worked with these people for years. I worked for another lab, but had to send info back and forth for years so they know my work and know me. It feels so good to be in the work force again. I will start tomorrow for a few hours. I will be working 45hours a month.I will keep you posted.

The job is writing a policy and procedure manual and putting an application book together so a sleep lab can submitt the application for accreditation. I have done this in the past. I got the job now it is talking about money. I have not asked for as much money as they pay other people. I feel they are bending by letting me work at home on my time, then I can take a few dollars less per hour. But I got the job yayaya. It feels so good to be needed and wanted again in the work force.

It'll probably take a while to get back into the swing of things. But I think you'll do fine once you get your routine down.

Hi teapotmommommerced, I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better, and about your interview. I've been trying to find something that I can do from home for a very long time, apart from what I'm already doing, and so far, nothing. I'll pray that you'll be able to do this, and that it won't be too much for you. Take care, and let us know how things go.

I got it. I will be working 45 hours a month. I will be getting paid every two weeks. I am so excited. I sure hope I can do it. I feel by only working that amount I will have plenty of time to rest in between. I thought the job was going to be temporary but it could work out to be permenant. I am so excited I can hardly settle down. I hope I can handle the stress of working again.

I forgot to ask you what are your skills? I am an RN and a Registed sleep technician and use to be a supervisor of a sleep lab. Maybe I can come up with some ideas for you.

Your prayer worked. I got the job. I start tomorrow. I could have started today. I was so excited I came home and my driver/helper cleaned out my office. I now can see my desk to again. I have to mop the floor tomorrow and start to work. I will be sitting up the policy and procedure manual and setting up some spread sheets. Right up my alley. Thanks for your prayer.

Well my friend of course I'm wishing you the best of luck that you not only get the job but to have the stamina to go for it and work at it. I might be hearing of an outlet to earn a little extra money myself and now I'm wondering too, if not only will I have the stamina for it, but the time and won't interfere with my other work too much. So good luck, good luck, good luck my friend and keep us posted how things go ((((hugs))))
