Where did you go/will you go for your HONEYMOON?

A colleague of mine will finally have a church wedding on the 21st of this month. Although they had a civil wedding first, they told me that they will go for their honeymoon after the church wedding. I wish them the best of luck and good health! Where do the couples nowadays choose to go for their honeymoons? If you are married, where did you have your honeymoon?

Wow! You're passed the silver wedding anniversary! That is wonderful (^_^) Honeymoon should not be a limited occassion that can only be celebrated at a distant place, but what counts the most is every event/moment spent with your partner that brings delight making it special moments.

Six years ago, when my hubby and I got married, money was a bit of a concern. Time was a factor. Work/vacation time for 2 jobs etc. We had a 3 day weekend. And a local honeymoon. We were maybe 1/2 an hour away from where we lived at the time. We honeymooned at a terrific little BnB. We got the best room. The Magnolia Room. Had a fireplace in the room a bathsuite with a heated floor, quadruple shower, yummy food. Best part spending time together. Not having to be broke when we were done. Owning a house less than a year later. Some friends laugh who have been to Hawaii and Jamacia. But it was a romantic getaway none the less, and a wonderful memory for me!

That sounds romantic and very intimate also! No matter where you go, it's the moment that you want to remain sparkling (^_^) The location adds spice to the event but enjoying the moment together is the most important thing to be remembered! Thank you for sharing!
