I've just given birth to a new baby boy last month and it's really a big challenge handling a newborn. First, he was having cradle cap, plus baby acne, etc, and I just didn't know how to manage all these. PLUS, all the crying and stuff, really had no idea whether he was hungry, bored or just wanted to cry. After a month, I am glad that I've finally come to know this little fellow better and understand him better, although we are not "speaking the same language" (yet). :) New mothers out there...share with me your thoughts and experience! My son is now 1.5 mths and here is a special little blog to share with people out there. www.isaac-khng.blogspot.com

My first baby had baby acne. It was a little bothersome to me but it did go away eventually. I raised her alone for the first two years of her life. It was quite a challenge but now that she is 14 years old, I would give anything to go back to those days when she was little and it was just the two of us. My second baby was colicky. That was a real challenge. If I only knew then what I know now... LOL! We learn with each child we have but do cherish these years when they are small. I look at my 11 and 14 year olds and wonder where my babies went. The days and years go by so quickly. Congratulations and enjoy!

Thanks so much. For colic, it can be really disturbing for the baby. Sometimes when he cries, I wonder if he's having colic but eventually when he stops crying, it's such a relief. :)
