I couldn't pass up the opportunity to weigh in on the flap regarding Jennifer's body image. In a world where we see a constant parade of skinny personalities who appear to be at death's door, I find it refreshing that Ms. Hewitt does not adhere to that mindset. You would think that she was really fat judging by all the flap her photo has attracted. She is far from that, and is also a beautiful girl. Those people who are criticizing her should get a life!

That is one reason I am glad that I am not famous. I couldn't handle almost every moment of my life being documented, and placed online or on tv for the world to see.
As I see it, there isn't a thing wrong with Jennifer's body style, she looks perfectly healthy to me, but than again I don't make it a thing to stare at other women either..lol It makes me mad that so many have judged her in such an ill manner, considering what so many have come to view as the presentation of beauty (rail thin and can see bones..ick). To me Jennifer is beautiful and glad to see that she hasn't fallen into that crowd of if they turn side ways they disappear.

Yes, jeweled, she seems to know who she is and is not worried about what they are saying about her. I know that many others could take a page from her book.

Jennifer love hewitt is not fat by anyone's standards. the problem is we have insecure girls who take out their worries on famous people. Quit projecting! We also have men who are so messed up in the head that they have some to believe that the playboy stereo type is what is actually beautiful. It makes me so sad. OMG CELLULITE?! I don't know anyone, skinny or fat who doesn't have it. She is not someone I find attractive, but there is not one thing wrong with her body. Hollywood and magazines like playboy have really messed withour sense of self in america.

I am just happy that she is thumbing her nose at the people who are speaking out against her, xreesex. Jealousy seems to have reared its ugly head where they are concerned.

A size two is not fat ... Celebrities really can't win, at least the women can't. If you're a size 2 you're called fat and if you're any smaller then the standard 0, then you need to go into rehab for your eating disorder. Women aren't made to look like they did when they were 9 years old! It just makes me sick! I pray that my daughters will have a healthy self image and not fall prey to the standards of the world.

LOL! A herd of cows ... I don't remember having any friends in high school that were smaller then a 6. All of my friends played just about every sport and we were all healthy ... not toothpicks and not over weight!

When I was a teen, imadriscoll, the average girl's size was between 6-9. I suppose we would have looked like a herd of cows by today's standards, LOL.

I used to watch Ghost Whisperer regularly, Shaun, but they put the wrestling on at the same time so I had to make a choice. There is nothing fat about Jennifer.

I think Jennifer Love Hewitt has an amazing body and it's definitely not fat!!!! Yes, the photos made her look a little flabby but who cares? She still looks great and I like her! We can't trust these newspapers/magazines anyway - they probably touched up the photos!

Jennifer Love Hewitt is a beautiful person both inside and out. The world is always preaching about body issues about anerexia etc. They need to take time out to listen to themselve and stop critising people on body weight when they are skinny. It's great that Jennifer appears to not be listening to the hog wash that is going on. Good on you JLH.

I agree with you, we all should be so lucky to look like her, I know I wish I did, I think sometimes these people have nothing better to do than look for negatives about people to write about possibly because it sells more magazines, and the person writing it was probably no where near as good so I say what you say ...go get a life... :)

Some ppl just arent happy unless they are nattering and carrying on about something :-/ This would be a perfect example IMO..I personally think Hewitt looks FABULOUS! and good for her for not falling into the oh so common celebrity "must be super skinny" mindset..

Some of those actresses are so thin, Ravenladyj, that they nearly disappear when they turn sideways. That is very unhealthy.

At least she's healthy, some of the stick thin creatures in the media look dreadful. There is far too much importance placed on being thin these days anyway, curves are so much better

She is definately not fat.In fact she looks like a average woman in that picture.So what if she has a bit of junk in her trunk....if she feels comfortable with her body and doesn't play on all the hype about having to be skinny.....more power to her.Women come in all different shapes and sizes.....and each is beautyfull in her own way....or at least in someones eyes.

LOL.....I'm definately not the odd man out.....I have plenty to fill the seat of my pants.She is not the only one you has gotten such bad rep for being at a normal weight....there has been pictures of Tyra as well where she is not looking like what a super-model is "supposed" to look like.It's funny how most of us woman will defend someone being called fat when they really are just average....but yet somehow the standard for beauty is still to be skinny.For me I would much rather see pictures of a person that looks like me(body wise)......at least I can relate to that....because the average woman in america is a size 12.So in other words.....if they call her fat.....they would have to call the rest of us even fater and that is just a marketing hype to get us to buy into all this bull.
You are absolutely correct.....they always blow these things way out of proportion so to speak.

Among most of the women I know, winky, you are the odd person out if you don't have a little junk in your trunk, LOL. I just think they made way too much of this issue with a beautiful girl's body.

This is so stupid beyond belief. When I was in Walgreens today of course they had those tacky newspapers like National Enquirer..her photo is splashed all over them saying "look how fat she is" What fat? You think she weighed 900 pounds the way they make it seem...At least she has a WOMAN'S body and not looking like some kind of starved skeleton--might be biased as I am a fan of hers..LOL..But yes she is a beautiful girl

well i agree i think she looks great and very healthy and i wish all the other actresses would take after her and not being so worried about their weight.especially the ones that have no meat on their bones,thats so nasty to see.take care hon,hope all is well.pattie

I hate society, I really do, because society wants women to feel terrible about their bodies. Just because they took a picture from a unflattering angle does not mean she is fat. Just because she has some cellulite does not mean she is fat. People that are pushing this fat stereotype are why teen girls are starving themselves to fit some sick ideal of beauty that really is too hard to reach because it does not exist. I don't find stick thin women beautiful. I don't find bones beautiful. I find real women, women with curves beautiful.
