The most outrageos thing I saw was an air guitar for $1,000. The actual item was nothing but air.

I don't visit eBay very often but I did hear of a guy who sold his dirty socks there. Even those can't top the "Air Guitar" Wonder how they intend to ship it..."Air" mail maybe? LOL

Now that is hilarious! I have seen food items like macaroni and cheese being auctioned off and I thought to myself the shipping alone will cost more than the food lol!

I think the wedding dress (you remember the wedding dress, right?) was the most ridiculous thing I've seen on ebay. I know that I thought about listing "This Jar" on ebay a few years ago. It was from one of those ebay commercials that came across very showtunes-y. There was a line that said something like "I saved enough to buy this jar." So I was going to auction off this jar. I never got around to it, though.

A pitcher in the major leagues was selling bone chips from his elbow on ebay. He was going to give the money he got from it to charity, but when ebay heard about it, they pulled it from their site. The bidding had gone up to $15,000.

There have been, over the years, some truly outrageous items listed onto eBay but the funniest has to be a lady's ex boyfriend. She listed all his faults and short comings, several pictures and even included free postage.

Wow, I dont think I can beat the air guitar for $1,000, but I did see a listing for Paris Hiltons trash, as well as Britney Spears ABC gum... My friend had an idea once where she tried to sell a date with herself on ebay in order to pay for her college books. It was called WIN A DATE WITH A LESBIAN! No one bid (of course), but it was hella funny, AND she got interviewed to be featured in the newspaper (although it didnt post till after the bid had finished)
