Which writer do you enjoy most reading? What makes you like him/her and what books have you read of him/her? Personally i like Stephen King.He can supply horror even with the slightest of words and sentences. In his books, horror sneaks around and is behind you to grab you by the throat! :) Hes got an extreme type of writing that increases suspense and makes the adrenaline rush inside you. I loved Desperation, the Stand, It, Bag Of Bones, Misery, Christine and the others too. Not a single of his books left me disappointed.

I had read novels from different authors. Crichton, Pratchett, Jordan, Weis and Hickman, King, Shieldon, Greeley. Crichton books keeps in thrill will to those that I have read. Jordan is quiet descriptive on things that you can pitcture out things. Weis and Hickman they keep story interesting. King has done enough to upset with his books that I have read. Greeley is into angels.

I love Nora Roberts. She's so awesome. And she doesn't write smut romance novels. She writes love scences tastefully and it's great. Plus it's not the damsile-in-disstress. Usually the main female is strong and indepenant.

Well i think that most female romance style stories writers have the main hero to be independent and strong.I might be wrong though. I have read Nora Roberts, not bad, but i wasnt fascinated either.

I really like reading Nicholas Sparks. Usually mushy love stories aren't really my cup of tea, but I think his books are just so well written. I mean really, I start reading one of his books and I literally can't put it down until I finish it. It is very rare that I start one of his books and don't finish it the same day. I like The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Wedding, The Guardian, Message in a Bottle, True Believer, Dear John, The Rescue, A Bend In The Road.. and there may be one or two more, but I am so tired right now I can't really think. One thing I love about his books though is that he is from Eastern North Carolina. I used to live about 30 miles from where he is from, and all of his books take place in that area. I like reading his stories and being able to really relate to what he is talking about because I have been there, and I know the areas he describes in his books. It's just awesome to be able to do that. Such great books! I am trying to read all of his work. Other than him I really like Dan Brown too. And my husband just recently got me reading some Michael Crichton. He wrote one called State of Fear that I really enjoyed!

My favorite writer would have to be Nora Roberts and D. Francis for fiction, But I am more of a non fiction reader.

I have a few favourite writers. Stephen King Terry Pratchett Anne McCaffrey Mercedes Lackey I can't really pick one, each writer has their own merits, but i have to say Terry Pratchett is probably one of the worlds best comedy writers.
