Does anyone have any crockpot recipes they'd like to share. The smell of food cooking for hours is so soothing. Especially when I don't have to stand over it LOL

One of our favorites: A bag of obrien style hashbrown potatoes, a kielbasa, a can of cream of mushroom soup (could use other soup since you don't like mushrooms) a cup of sour cream and a cup of shredded cheddar. (we add extra cheddar since we like it cheesy) you slice the kielbasa and then dump it all in and mix, then just cook it 8-10 hours. its really good.

This sounds yummy except what is a kielbasa? We also love cheese. Thanks

I'm surprised you haven't had more replies. Crockpot cooking is so easy and good! One of my favorite "recipes" is to put about a cup and a half of rice in the bottom of the crockpot, mix a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup with water and pour it into the rice, then place pieces of chicken over that. Let it cook until the chicken is very tender. Depending on what kind of crockpot you have, it can take from 6 to 10 hours.

We were talking around the table in the teacher's lounge and a substitute said to put a pork roast in the bottom of a crock pot, dump a can of refries over it, and then 16-24 ounces of salsa. Cook all day, break up or shred the meat at the end of the day, serve wrapped in a worm tortilla. I had to try it, cooked it all night, served it over tortilla chips. Tasted great, and soo easy.
