What is the most effective way to combat sleepiness during work? Is coffee enough?

Good breakfast, light lunch and after you go home, you can have good supper or dinner. What is important is, one should not keep watching TV forlong hours and thereby spoil their sleep. One should develop a habit to sleep at a fixed time and sleep for fixed duration. Early to bed and early rise is the best. Secondly, during working hours at office, move around, try to talk to people. Take a walk. Just to avoid sleep, do not drink too much coffee also, because it is not good for health.

These were effective for me when I was still working in an office. I get out of my post for a few minutes and stretch. Sometimes I take a walk for a few minutes only, short enough that my boss will not come looking for me.

Every one of us experience sleepiness during working hours because of many reasons, in my own opinion the best way to combat sleepiness is to respond to all the questions here in MyLot, another way is to search a soul mate, so keep responding to questions here in MyLot and keep browsing for your soulmate...tell me if you are still sleepy and i advise you another way of combating it.

Coffee is not enough I'm afraid it should be infact avoided because it gives momentary charging and then has an adverse effect.According to me,one should practice deep breathing inhalking lot of oxygen which can refresh the brain and diminish sleepiness.This can be done wherever you are,in the office,at home,anywhere and it does not disturb others either and you too don't look awkward doing it even in public places also as it is hardly noticeable.
