Riding Bicycles In The Snow?

Sounds like something that my children would do! I think it's just that kids love to get out and see how fast they can go in the snow. I remember my son trying to go down the hill by our house several years ago on his skateboard in the snow. He abou broke his fool neck.

They probably do it because someone told them they could not do it. Why do kids do anything, LOL? It is hard to bicycle in the slush, I have tried it, a long, long time ago. I guess if it there only "wheels" they will try their best to use it. Have you ever tried it? I bet they are keeping warm just from the exertion.

I have alot before I got sick , now I can`t even hold up a bike wish I could ... Just yesterday I was trying to go for groceries on my scooter which is nrand new and realized it was too wet to be out ... With a new scooterr so I came home before it got wet that was my whole day !!!! SO FUN I LOVED IT , it was fun when I could do it but NOT ANYMORE ...

I saw the same thing the other day. We have snow too and I saw some kids struggling and slidding along. I can't say I ever road my bike in the snow. It does sound like fun when you are a youngen.

Hi my friend I probably did do that. We are having the same weather as you I just came in from emptying the trash and its all slush out there. Kids will be kids.LOL But I hope they dont have an accident.

Hello dear village anne. It is very difficult to ride on a slippery road when the road is icy because of the snow. There were a few times when I saw bicycle-riding people fall down off their bicycle on the street years ago. It so hurts once you fall down on an icy road with the melting snow. I hope that the boys you saw riding on their bikes are just ok and safe. Thanks for your discussion.

I was watching a young boy in his teens riding a bike on the snow covered sidewalks in our town. he was having a blast as he skidded his rear wheel. He wasn't going very fast but I don't think he cared.
