He surely will.Sachin can do anything.And he will not do it for the sake of record he will do it for the team,for the country.In past few years He has played quite a few long innings on bad pitches not only on flat pitches.The day he bats long and gets into himself we all will be watching the best ever innings by anyone in the world of test cricket.He will surely give us a treat.JUST WAIT!!! HE WILL DO IT.

But dont you think being the best batsman and even lara admitting that
"Sachin is a genius and I am a mere mortal"
signifies that he has the immense store house of talent and determination for him to achive and exceed any goal he sets... Thats a talk of a SACHIN Fan.. What say??

I would like sachin to break that record but i think he wont. the problem he faces is that he doesn't make quick runs in the longer version og the games i.e the tests. also when anyone scores such a high score the match always ends in a draw. sachin is a team man and he would like to give the team a victory than setting himself with a record.
