Do you give gifts to your service people?

Such as mail carrier, garbage men, etc? I was just wondering because I haven't in the past, but I'm thinking mabye I should. What kind of gifts do you give them?

The only service person I really come into contact with is my mailman and I usually give her just a Christmas card.
