I think you have to take ferrous sulfate with vitamin C for better absorption. Anyways, it is also better to eat Iron rich foods. :)

There are many over the counter medication, you need to get basic blood work from your doctor. This will then determine your levels, and determine the medication you need to take. I have tried many of the over the counter medication but none have worked. I would suggested either the slow release, or the liquid iron if you are having trouble with the medication.

yes, ferrous sulfate should be taken, and yeah with vit c intake for faster absorption. it is usually taken once a day. for foods high in iron, take organ meats, such as liver and also green leafy veggies.

I will not take any medication withought consulation with Doctor . get your self checked and blood test done. Your doctor will be able to tell you which medicine and in what does is good for you . DOn't just go out and buy from the self . Its not recommended . Please do not play with your health...cheers
