Texas Couple has 80th Anniversary

That is amazing! He is 100 and she is 99 years old! They have been married for 80 years! I'm hoping to make it to our 50th! LOL. Wow. http://www.arcamax.com/weirdnews/s-269018-316704

We're at 44 years, but I don't know if I have another 36 in me!LOL! Well... that would 'only' make me 96... we'll see!!

ya can make it if ya married young and can live to be 100 lolbut how nice for them my son in law works with a man who him and his wife are to celebrate there 65th annivarsry good that they can lived together that long

That is so cool! This month makes me and my husband 29 years but that dont seem like a long time now. LOL It did before I read this. LOL

We used to have a tv person who had a segment every Friday to wish people happy birthday at 100 or happy anniversary for 50 years and up. I do remember a couple of times there were people who were married 80 years. That is quite an accomplishment.

Hi estherlou! Wow, that is amazing! They are really blessed. Just imagine living to a hundred and still living with the same partner for 80 years, that is really incredible. They must be very happy celebrating 80 years of marriage. How lovely indeed! Take care and have a nice day! :)
