This almost never happens to me, but I just can't sleep tonight. I tried for a while and gave up. I got up and tried to write, but that's not happening either. What do you do when you can't sleep?

This seems to happen to a lot of myLotters. Or maybe it is just a lot of people in general! I have been having a lot of sleeping issues lately. I always try a nice hot cup of Chamomile tea. It is very relaxing and sometimes it works!

It doesn't happen to me often, but when it does, it is a real drag. I don't like tea, but I wish I did, because it has many soothing and healing properties.

My hubby was sleeping soundly, so I didn't want to wake him. Some computer time did the trick this time. Thanks.

I sometimes have this problem. Usually this happens because either the brain is too active or we are in physical discomfort. If I am in discomfort I take a sleeping tablet. If my brain is too active, I get up and do something.

Yes, I think my brain was too active. I had a lot of things running through my mind. A couple hours on mylot cured my insomnia. Thanks

I can take a pill to go to sleep. However I don't mind waiting till I drift off. I am on mylot now because I can't sleep. It's not bad just tiring in the am hours.

Yeah, that's where I am now, up late because I couldn't sleep, my son gets me up early, and now I'm exhausted.

try taking benadryl...safe enough to take every day... non addictive...all i usually need is a book and i'm out...or try doing something boring and repetitive... also you can try to get yourself sleepy earlier...cut back on caffeine...make some herbal tea after dinner...clean your house, etc...you'll start feeling tired in no time!

I don't have any benadryl. I don't keep it on hand. I was feeling tired, but sleep wouldn't come.
