WYD is the largest youth event in the world and will be held on sydney 15-20 July 2008. Organized by the Catholic Church, WYD gathers young people from around the world. WYD 08 will be the occassion of the first visit of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to Australia. The most recent WYD 2005 in Cologne, Germany was attended by 435,000 people from 197 countries, 7,000 journalists and 1,2 million people on the Final Mass. So are you going to Sydney next year? Share with everybody who you are, no matter you're going there or just supporting from home. Let's get to know better now, we might see each other there! More info at www.wyd2008.org I'm Agung from Surabaya Indonesia. I'm planning to go and have already registered via the local community. Me and another 50 youngsters will be leaving together under the coordination of the Immanuel Community on July 12th 2008. How about you?

I would love to go, but I'm from Denmark and that's one long flight for something like that - so no I don't think I'm going.

nice to know you phlamingo..it's a long flight indeed, but the event itself is from 10-20 july. the official event is 15-20 july. so a few hours flight really pays off the event. still expecting to meet there...thanks for response!
