Is it the graphics? The banners? Templates? or is it the quality of the text? What grabs you first? The text is what keeps you there but what grabs you first? The color? The ads? I just want to know what is your opinion on this topic...

What I see first is how clear and clean the look is. If it's hard to see what it's all about, too many graphics and muddy colors, it's not appealing.

CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT! If i can't find what i am looking for on the page fairly easily i move on to the next one! I dont usually just surf around reading random stuff, I usually have something i am looking for. A picture, information, a song, something in piticular. I hate it when i stumble on a page that says what i'm looking for is on there in the search engine, but is not even on the page, or is so hard to find it makes you wanna break the monitor! lol.

I would say all of it. A good mixture of graphics, placing of banners, seperation of frames and some brilliant text is all that matters for me to say that a website is cool. The choice of background colours and animations and flash used, organizing is very important, thats what gives the beauty to the website. And the first thing i always intend to notice is the back ground colour and after that, the graphics used and then the placing of all the content in the website in a ordered manner.

what grabs my attention first is the title of the site. I like those websites which has an interesting and catchy titles. Second the template, if it looks good, then maybe there's a good possibility that the content is good too. That's my quick criteria for websites. by the way look at my site at www.macobex.com
