Do you like TV commercials?

Don't you just hate some commercials they now have on TV. I live in Canada but I'm sure in other countries you get the same commercials, maybe not in English. The one I hate the most is hands in my pocket. I like the music just not the words. That commercial is so retarded. I don't want to list what company its for because anyone of you that have heard it knows it.
I also don't like the one that the guy yells EAT STEAK. God, that just irritates me.
Some of the commercials don't even make sense, like the one of a certain medicine and they say ASK YOUR DOCTOR, how can you ask your doctor when you don't even know what the medicine is for.
Then there are some commercials that are great. Like the car one where they are driving down the building, and she opens a bottle of water and he steps on the brake and the water splashes in her face. I love the music to that one, too. Or the buffalo commercials for the phone company, you have to live in Winnpeg to know those ones, but there all great.
They should hire someone, an amatuer, to review them before they put on TV. I would love to have a job like that. How about you? Do you have any commercials you hate? Or love? Please tell.

I think a lot of commercials are just so stupid. And they dont have any point to them. I also think they they try way too hard in some of them to get the point across. And they have the same commercials on for what seems like forever. I think they need to try to be just a little more creative. Your right they should hire someone to look at the commercials before they are put on tv. Maybe then we wouldnt have to watch so many stupid, pointless commercials.

I don't like commercials in general. I don't like the way they interrupt somewhere in the beginning, middle and end of a good movie or show. So I almost always watch DVD instead rather than the regular programs. There are some though that are educational, fun and creative. There are only a few that really sticks to my memory. And there are jingles that are fun to sing along with. Anyways, no matter how good it is, I still hate it when any form of commercial disrupts the continuity of a good movie.

I Hate commercials full stop, the only use they have is an excuse to go and make a cup of coffee until your programme comes on! If you are desperate for the toilet you can wait till the commercials to come on. It really annoys me with Sky, you pay extra money to get Sky and yet you still have the damn commercials. One day they'll invent a remote control that whizzes through the commercials. They seem to last longer on Sky and we just switch over to another channel to avoid them like the plague.

Usually I simply go neutral on this issue. Very few commercials take my fancy. I find that one good thing to do is to go off and do some chores around the house. Occasionally you get a good add that is worth watching for entertainment value, but even then they are only funny once or twice. Normally adds are just an intrusion to the viewing you are really trying to watch. This is particularly the case with a sporting contest or a great movie. Just as you are really getting into it, along come the adds, usually with greater and greater frequency. Still, the bills do have to be paid so I suppose it is a necessary evil.

The one i hate the most,but it is kind of funny the one "Family prix"where the guy hollars(pharmecian)all the time,the other is with the crows who fly into the patio doors because the woman used windex to clean her windows and the dumb crows cannot see it,duh!Dumb birds,haha.Some of the perfume/cologne ones i like but some are too dungy for me to like and makes no sense to why they made the commercial in the first place,like the one with Nicole Kidman????Huh??I dont get it:(

I moved from the US to Canada 3 months ago. I pretty much catch some channels from Vermont and Champlain NY. But my favorite commercial that I love to see is the one where it says PEACE ON EARTH, with all the little babies. Seeing their heavenly faces while their asleep is beautiful. One that I think is funny is that Wendys commercial with that guy with the red wig on his head. I don't remember wut they say, all I remember is "bacon". But other than that we have the same commercials, except for some of the things you have here like "bell mobility" with the little gophers, beavers, whatever they are. I like the telus commercials with the fish. :) Yea I've seen a couple of the medicine commercials and I wonder what is up with them cause they don't even tell you what the medicine is for. They show you pictures of families running around all happy and whatnot. Is it something like viagra or for depression?.. Commercials just sometimes keep you wondering, now what idiot made that one? But it's better just to not get a headache over it. :)

I really don't mind commercials. A few are annoying,but I just seem to block them out of my mind. If my husband is home,we never see a commercial. He is a channel flipper.I'd love the job of review commercials it would be so much fun.

We don't have a TV now; it conked a couple of years back and nobody wants to waste money on one now. When we did have a TV, I was one of the 'freaks' who enjoyed commercials more than the soaps. The soaps were sillier than the commercials. TV itself is silly. Commercials are sillier, and the soaps are the silliest. I don't know why I loved the commercials so much. They were stupid, no doubt, and I used to grin and giggle when I watched them, and that drove everybody crazy. I know that they keep repeating things in a loud voice in a commercial because they are trying to hypnotise you into buying a product. Somehow, I was never hypnotised into buying a single product. I think I enjoyed the commercial simply coz they were silly and they helped me forget real life for a while.

There have been some that I actually enjoy...My newest favorite commercial has the Comcast Fios kid in it...I doubt that you get it in Canada but this kid is adorable. He started out in a Comcast commercial now he's doing one for I think it's Betty Crocker or some such cookie. He's such a doll I can see how other companies are starting to use him.
