Do you get the late night munchies?

I always get the munchies in the evening. I eat and eat and nothing ever satisfies my craving. I was eating around 12 ferrero rochers a day. I am trying to lay off of eating so much candy because 1. I'm starting to get a toothache. 2. I don't want to gain a bunch of weight. and 3. I figure it's not the best example to set for my daughter. Why do I crave something and can never fulfill my craving? Does anyone else have this problem? If so what do you do to knock the craving? Thanks in advance.

no, I don't get that is faro roaches kind like jolly ranchers?

Ferrero Roches are not like jolly ranchers. They are a ball of crisp chocolate with a hazelnut inside, surrounding the hazelnut is a rich chocolate cream. They are very good. You should try one and hope that you don't get addicted to them. Have a great day.

Yes, I have the same problem, and I looked into it, and one of the nutritionists told me that, your body tells you what nutrition it needs, so when you eat and get full, and are still hungry, you haven't given your body the nutrition it is asking for! So he recommended using a food supplement before you eat, then no matter what you eat(just not too much), your body will already have received the nutrients it needs with the supplement! What I have been doing lately, is keeping fruits, and vegetables handy,for when I do get the munchies, I'll know they are not as fattening as other snacks, and it does help!

That makes since. I did buy me some fruit and snack bars that have 23 nutrients in them. I didn't think they would taste very good but they actually taste good. I love fruit but it has gotten outrageous in price. You would think that they would promote healthy eating and make the prices lower instead of jacking them up. I need to start taking some kind of vitamin but I always forget to take them. Thanks for your great answer. Have a good day.

I get the late night munchies, often. I find it that i eat mostly cause i stay up at night and there really isnt nothing to do but munch on something. It doesnt just have to be candy or something sweet....Honestly i dont really go for sweets, i go for chips, pop corn, salad, that sort of stuff..maybe a late night pizza? stuff like that, cook some onion rings...ha i basicly have a meal at night.. And yes it is bad and it is a problem, You should see a doctor about it...

ha !~ i have the same problem now.cas every winter i will have this problem,the colder the weather is ,the more I will eat,just like the animal who like to save more and more food in body to protect themselvs to pass the cold winter savely.ha 1` i have a way for this problem. you can have a cup beside you ,and when you want to eat something ,first,remember ,drink!!! then it will be better.really useful and is very good for your health!~

I sometimes get the sudden hunger of wanting something to eat, usually it's before midnight but between 9-11.. every so often i get the need during the day but I don't really have too much :) ~Joey

I do tend to feel hungry late at night, but I think that is mostly because I am usually up until quite late. However my munchies are a bit different I don't crave sweets that much and I don't really eat candy, but I might feel like a steak on a bun, fruit, or the rest of the soup from dinner. Sometimes I drink a yop yogurt. I think that it makes sense for me to feel hungry since I have dinner at 6:30/ 7 and I"m still awake at 1 or 2 am. What I do is I try to avoid the heavy stuff - that steak on a bun is substituted by some fruit or yogurt, or even some tea. However sometimes I really cook the steak LOL

OMG we both suffer from the late night munchies. I am a day sleeper so, I dont really get to sleep until 3-4 in the morning so around 1-2 in the morning I get the munchies and I want cereal or just something to hold me over. I have gained so much weight due to it and now I am paying for it. I would suggest to get some healthy alernatives and slowly get yourself out of the habit. Also I guess exercise would balance it out.

Yes I do but I try and not eat too much as I keep reading how bad it is for you, I saw on the TV the other day the combination of a couple of things that was good I wish I had have written them down, I remember it was toast and something, milk and banana something to do with what the two things combines can help you sleep better...

yes i do have this problem but i found a solution to it... and it is Hot chocolate. i liked it very much that i have it and it's never lasting taste i don't wanna spoil at any cost. you can do it too as per your favorite thing to eat.

I have that problem and it's always late at night. It doesn't make much sense. I cannot cure the craving. I cannot fulfill the taste I long for. I don't even know what it is I want. I don't crave candy, I don't crave anything in particular. I just crave food. I try to eat a few different items but never find myself fully satisfied. Usually, I just try to go to bed or ignore my desires, thats the only way it passes. Good luck to you!

This happens to me all the time. (But then again im pregnant.) I know if im really craving something and we dont have it i will just eat something else. But no matter what else i eat or how much i eat it doesnt fulfill my craving. If nothing will get rid of the craving then i just try to do something else to get rid of it so i dont end up eating all night. I try to keep myself busy and not think of it. By the way ferrero rochers are the greatest!

I always get hungry late at night! I eat snacks in the middle of the night all the time. Thankfully I have a great metabolism. Sometimes I will practically eat a whole meal! I love snacking. I can't fall asleep at night if I am hungry.
