My mobile has a huge, useful data storage and last week when I almost lost it, for a second I froze! Obviously, I do not have anything call physical memory nowadays!! This is alarming and I have just begun to whet my memory. However, now I have been feeling the urgency to take a backup of my mobile phone and SIM. Even though I can take backups of the SMSes in the internet but it's not just it. I can do well without it. More importantly, I want to have a backup of the Contacts, Calender, Tasks... Can anyone help me with this?

i think u should sychronize your phone with your pc.. so i u lost your phone u could still have the data stored in your pc. its what i do most of the time though i still write all my contact number on my organizer.. and i still have a huge calendar so i could write all appointments and my monthly period on it. ^-^

hey, it took you sometime to get back here. i thought you had it resolved. c",) . anyway, since you're using a nokia, i'd suggest you take advantage of Nokia's PC Suite. that should solve your backup problem. i'm not sure if symbian s40 has an application for backups so PC Suite is your sure option. . in case you're asking where to get PC Suite, the CD that came with your phone has an installer. or you can just drop by nokia webby to get it. c",)

You can do it via (your phones) connection data to pc.. asuming you have a wire for it which connects to your pc. There's other ways too but I'm not sure what your options are. ~Joey P.s what make is your phone?

when ever you buy a phone you generally get a Cd as well as a Chord with it through which one can attach the cell phone as well as the pc and load the details of the same in the PC, apart from this one can use the card reader as well and remove your card and inser it in the reader and than attach it to the pc and your pc will read and store the information. hope this sufficie your query take care.
