what do you usually do when you're depressed?

i always listen to music and pray to God when i'm depressed. then i take a walk outside the house and watch the beauty of nature.

I always take a walk outside, or climb mountain, or find a quiet environment for thinking. I could keep very sober and wise, and think things very clearly, then find a right way to solve the problem.

nice idea. I used to do that walk also. Sometimes, upoon thinking and examining things up, you'll just get on a point that you'll come up witha solution. Also, nature provides us somehow an unexplainable feeling/treatment when we mingle onto it. I dont know but its splendid inhabitants and sites muses my soul...

I use to manage depression, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

When I am feeling depressed, I try to spend more time outdoors than indoors. I will do whatever I can to keep myself busy so that I am not having time to feel sad or dwell on things that will make me sad. Exercising is something that I do when I am feeling down or talking to family or friends.

Well crying is best way to come out of depression and its never shameful. Tears are best doctors for releaving the pressure on mind and heart.

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations.

Hello,ai_lirios! depression?it is good to listen music specially devotional songs that soothes the mind.see comedy cinemas and laugh with children.you will be relieved of all tensions.go out for a walk with a best friend so that you can ventilate your problems and find out a solution.i normally do all these things when i am in depressed moods.if not relived, i take resort to recite a mantra OoooM for about 30 minutes and this gives me much relief.thank you.be happy.

When I'm depressed, I used to eat chocolate bars - Hersheys, to name some. =). Scientifically speaking, I knew that chocolates is considered to be an anti-depressant since this food contains carbohydrates (source of energy/calories mainly) and mostly a source of caffeine w/s is also found in coffee.

When I' depressed, I usually eat hershey chocolate bars. =). Funny to hear but somehow, it relieves my stress. Aside from it's mouth watery, I cant explain the instance once I intake it but scientifically speaking, chocolates are sources of carbohydrates and caffeine, right ( a substance also found in coffee ) w/c is considered to be anti-depressant.

When I am depressed I try to "get busy" . I have learned that the best way to chase away the blues is not to pay attention to them. If you are busy and your mind is occupied with something; it's hard to think about being depressed.
