Should Harry potter series of books be extended by the author..

i dont know if this is possible...but i guess it will be much better if jk rowling started with the four friends, (james, sirius, remus, and wormtail) lily, and severus' story...and even voldemort's before she started with harry potter...i wanted to know the romance between lily and james...haha.sorry im just a hopeless romantic...lol

Every story shud have some ending...therefore i think Harry Potter should have an ending

I believe all Harry Potter books will be made into movies, but I wonder how JKR will write an eighth Potter book. She wanted the seventh to the the last. It was a mega plan she had in her mind. And even if she did, how would she continue? Last I knew, Harry had married Ginny, and they had five kids. He would be too busy taking care of his family to fight another Voldermort. Moreover, Harry had had enough of adventures, and just wanted a peaceful, ordinary life. Unless JKR decides to start a "Son of Potter" series!

first of all why do u need da extension in it series of books when everything was finalised in its seventh part,and as for movies they r producing these books into movies but it will take time to complete,thank you

As far as i know all the book will be movies and i think that JK mite make another series that is based on harry potter lyk his son or maybe a story of one of the otehr children at hogwarts that has not been told !!!

Oh, yes! I think that Harry Potter series should be cotinued. I like this series a lot and I can't believe that it is finished. Harry Potter has been part of my childhood. But I believe the author will not let the series, I still have some hope that something are going to come over there...

the harry potter series should continue. it's too early for the author to stop writing books on these. it's one of the best books ever and should continue as much as possible so that it would become the longest written story ever.

course we all want more but wouldn't it sort of ruin it now that harry is all grown up with kids i mean all the youth years are gone

everybody wants that but the thing is the JKR has ended the series and there is very little or no scope of continuing the story she made sure that nobody can continue the story unless they want to start "sons of harry potter" as someone has already said it

All Harry Potter fans want an extension to the books but right now... J.K. Rowling would like a quiet life without the Harry Potter world... and i ever she decide on another book about the boy wizard... we would have to wait for a while because she wants to venture into other story plots which i think will prove that she is a versatile writer... All we can do is hope and wait for another series of Harry Potter adventures by J.K. Rowling...

My vote is yes. This is best and gripping movie to it viewers of all group of ages. This movie has no boring material and our children can learn a lot from such interesting movies. I and my family members enjoyed to watch this movie so many times. And we are fans and fond of seeing the magic tricks on this movie. This is really a big story of magic tricks. I think computer also played a vital role.

I think she should. But then again, we all knew that it's the end... how about a story on quidditch? Or how mean people survive in Hogwartz. :)

I'm sure that's up to Rowlings. I hope she learns how to write first and not do a mediocre job of it like she did in Harry Potter.

I don't think she should, the series is ended and a new book not planned at all could cause the series to jump the shark. Stay happy, there are still two movies to watch!

I think JKR ended the series on the correct node. It would be criminal if she decides to write another book in the series. I would rather want her to write some other series and move in that direction. I have enjoyed the HP series and I must say that I think the ending was apt. Cheers! Ram

I think that JKR pretty much wrapped up the story in the seventh book. I would like to see her do the "encyclopedia" that she has mentioned several times, just to let us know more about the world of witches. As for the movies, they ARE all going to be made. Number 6 is scheduled to come out in November of 2008, and number 7 will follow in 2009. Just be patient! LOL
