I think that this is a very good idea.And BCCI should actually should take the initiative as it can actually organize such an event with the ICC.This will increase the charm of test cricket.During daytime there are offices and schools but in evening people are more free.So if this happens it will be a very positive step forward. And those who say Test Cricket is boring, I can never agree to them.As with more results or nearly more results Test cricket is giving players to play with a lot of skill.Without Test Cricket the game would be one dimensional.Just One way...

Hello,rakesh! day-night test match is not possible,who has time in the night to watch continuously for five days.it will be boring all through.after the introduction of 20twenty cricket match the charm of fifty overs match has faded.instead of playing test matches, more emphasis should be given on ODI and 20 twenty matches since these have attracted more audience in the field.in these matches the players get the scope for showing their showmanship and give much entertainment.i have no liking for the test match,be it in day or day night.thank you.have a good day.

I think it is a good idea to try for a day and night test. I think there will no stoppage of bad light as the artificial lights will put for the matches. I think it should be tried on domestic matches and then on the international test matches. May be couple of three day matches under lights and then the test matches under lights.

The insider news is that Cricket Australia is already considering a Day-Night test possibility. It would be an interesting addition to the game like the one day version of the same. I would still prefer tests to be played as day matches with the option of using lights in case of bad light threatening to stop play. Cheers! Ram

We have made changes to ODIs a lot and I'd be happy if the original nature of Test Cricket is retained.
