Well one of the best books I have ever read was by an author named Anne Bishop. The series is called "The Black Jeweled Trilogy". I was never able to put the books down when I was reading them. She started another series but I can't remember the name of it right off hand that was an excellent series also. I am waiting until March when her bnew book comes out called Belladona and it looks VERY interesting.

If you have not already read them try the books by James Patterson. They are wonderful. I really love the ones about Detective Alex Cross. A few of his books have been made into movies. The new TV show Womens Club Murders are based on a series of his books. Happy reading.

Well it would help to know what types of books you like. I am into science fiction/fantasy and there are lots of great series Raymond Feists Magician series Terry Pratchetts diskworld series (it's very funny) He also had a one off book called Good Omens which I found hilarious. David Eddings Belgariad and mallorean series Anne McCaffrey has several good series, my favourite is the dragon riders but the crystal singer, acorna, ship, planet pirates and tower series are all good too. Douglas Adams Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy series is pretty good.

HAve you heared about Paulo Coelho. He is a brazilian writer. He has good insights on his books. I like his novels because it kinda philosophical/spiritual. He basically talks about life.

I recently read the Phillip Pullman series 'His Dark Materials' and was really impressed. It was a bit reminscent of Lord of the Rings but not in the same class in a literary sense. Another book you might like to take a look at is Letter from Poitou www.letterfrompoitou.co.uk Happy Reading.
